Wingate pass plume (a.k.a. Death Valley Plume) is a highly sought after plume agate found in the Death Valley region of California. It was mined until the 1950’s, when a military training base was built on the land it was found, making it completely inaccessible. Pitting in this material is quite common but unlike most materials, it's an one of Wingate's most notable characteristics.
