About Me

Born and raised on the islands of Hawaii but moved to the mainland as a kid, I’ve grown up with a mission to make it back home. Then one day in my mid 20’s, I traveled to Oregon and fell in love with the land. I had collected rocks as a kid, but never quite understood just how amazing it could be. When I moved here, I found the river beds littered with agates and my obsession was quickly re-ignited. This was all weeks before March  2020, when the world shut down and life as we knew it, was changed forever. I lost my waitressing job and feeling uncertain with the future, rocks and wire wrapping were the only thing that gave me peace and hope for better times. Wire wrapping quickly turned into silversmithing and before I knew it, I had spent every last penny to purchase a cab machine so I could do more with some of these beautiful rocks I was collecting. The cab machine took over my kitchen and my little apartment quickly became too small for the growing passion I had. I worked night and day to save up for something better, a place where I could really work from home. Now located on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon, I have a growing lapidary shop in the garage of my home. As a mom running a business and raising a little human, it can be a lot of work. From accounting, shipping & customer service to the physical labor & time needed for the actual work, it’s a 24/7 job. Most nights, I stay up until the wee hours of the morning to make these stone releases come together. That way, I can focus on the other aspects of my little business during the day and also be the best mom I can be.

Although a lot of the material I work with is purchased from old collections, miners, or the random rock shop along the way, the majority of it is collected by me and my partner personally. We spend a lot of time connecting, researching and exploring to find lost locations and new ones alike, with the love of earths artwork fueling us all the way through. Returning home with beautiful jaspers and agates that have rested underground for hundreds of thousands of years is exhilarating. Cutting and polishing is the cherry on top and makes it all come together in a way that feels so incredibly special. Occasionally, I’ll cut a stone that I’m quite inspired by & will end up setting it in silver. These pieces will become available on my site from time to time.

Whether it’s the 2 years I’ve been in business or 30 down the road.. I will never stop feeling so grateful for every order that comes in. Every person who decides to spend their hard earned money on my business and support me in my endeavors, fills my cup like no other. Thank you for not only supporting a woman owned business, but a small business as well. 💛
