Morrisonite jasper is a beautiful & well sought after porcelain jasper, once mined in the Oregon side of the Owyhees and considered to be one of the "Kings of jasper". Finding abstract, contrasting pieces to cab is never easy but is part of what makes this jasper so special to work with.

Bruneau jasper comes from the region near the Bruneau River in western Idaho, about 30 miles south of the tiny town of Bruneau. Sometimes referred to as one of the five "king jaspers" due to the porcelain-like nature of this jasper. The Bruneau Jasper flow is the most silica-rich rhyolite flow in the area and is predominantly red and brown jasper.
