Celestial Blue Agate is found in Mexico as loose nodules that are actually the weathered cores of small thunder eggs. The Rhyolite matrix has usually completely decomposed, leaving only the agate core. Most Celestial Blue is pale blue in color or has an obvious grey overtone.

The paua shell is collected and processed ethically by a small business and like all others, the cabochon was shaped and polished by me. I hope you enjoy this one-of-a-kind stone that is sure to grab everyones attention when displayed. ✨
