Red Horn Coral Cabochon

Found high up in the mountains of Utah, Red Horn Coral once lived in the Permian sea in the Paleozoic era, millions and millions of years ago. From the vibrant, pink-red color to the gorgeous orbs embedded in a maze of cell structures, these are some of the coolest stones I’ve ever polished. I've found a couple stashes in some old collections but this isn't a material I come across very often. I've started to realize how special this coral is and how little cab quality material is actually available on the market today.
