Purple Passion agate was found in Chihuahua, Mexico in the late 1950s and was mined under the name “The Parcels, or Las Parcelas”, which is why you'll sometimes see this purple beauty called Parcelas agate. Its not as common to find high quality Purple Passion on the market these days.
